Location: Near Race St. and E. 5th Ave., Denver, CO 80206
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7AM/9AM - 7PM
Start: 4/1/24
Children: 1 child (1 year old)
Salary: $35-$45 DOE

We're in search of a full-time nanny to join our family, primarily caring for 1-2 (primarily for one child) of our four children while care is arranged for the other children.

  • Our household values mental and spiritual health, cultural diversity, and groundedness. Our family introduces metaphysical concepts like consciousness, spirituality, and energy to our children. Love, empathy, honesty, and accountability are core values we prioritize.

  • We have four children in the household; however, the nanny's primary responsibility would involve caring for 1-2 children at a time rather than all four. This is due to the presence of additional nannies and sufficient staff hired to provide assistance. The ideal nanny should possess cleanliness and tidiness, with proficiency in household management being advantageous but not required. Strong communication skills are also highly valued for this role.

  • While Mom occasionally works from home, her partner works remotely when not traveling for business. We love traveling, skiing, and engaging in outdoor activities, and we encourage our children to stay active with age-appropriate workouts in our home gym.

  • Modeling behavior is key; we expect our children to learn essential tasks like clearing the table and tidying up after themselves. Our household celebrates cultural diversity; Mom is Mexican and speaks Spanish, while her partner is Swedish, so our children are bilingual.

  • Despite our lifestyle, we emphasize staying grounded and respectful. We expect our nannies to share a 'can-do' attitude, take initiative, and not rely solely on others for tasks.

  • Nanny Requirements:

  • - Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English
    - Proven experience as a nanny, especially with infants and managing multiple age groups
    - Genuine love for children and familiarity with developmental milestones
    - Strong communication skills
    - First Aid/CPR certified
    - Valid driver's license with safe driving record
    - Respect for privacy and flexibility for varied schedules
    - Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and up-to-date on required vaccinations

  • Desired Qualities: Open, honest, structured, nurturing, trustworthy, flexible, timely, loving, creative, engaging, and organized.

  • Preferred Nanny/Family Relationship: Open and friendly, viewing the nanny as an extension of the family.

  • Vehicle Usage: Nanny can use their vehicle or ours as needed.

  • Nanny Responsibilities:

  • - Provide attentive care during three to four 12-hour daytime shifts weekly
    - Manage multiple children, organizing and supervising activities
    - Engage children in stimulating and educational activities
    - Collaborate with chefs to prepare nutritious meals
    - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in children's spaces
    - Monitor air quality and UV index daily, providing sun protection as needed
    - Care for family dogs while prioritizing children's safety
    - Establish consistent routines and structures for children
    - Maintain clear communication with parents and staff
    - Coordinate with housekeepers for children's clothing and laundry
    - Run occasional errands related to children's needs

  • Discipline Methods: Gentle parenting, emphasizing kindness and firmness, teaching social skills and problem-solving.

  • Unique Benefits: Performance bonus, opportunity to travel globally, access to mental health resources.

  • Travel Requirements: Yes, occasional travel to global locations. Travel participation is voluntary.
